Finishes
In 2005, Mivrag installed a state of the art facility with two barrel plating lines for zinc, zinc-iron and zinc-cobalt plating. The barrel line is computer controlled through operator-machine interface. The chemical balance of the baths is controlled and maintained by dosing pumps while specific elements are monitored in the plant laboratory.

Our plating procedures include a variety of post treatments for increased corrosion resistance, as per the customer’s specifications.

The same facility holds a fully automated cataphoretic plating line (E-coat). This line is the second of its kind to have been installed in the world.

The tray-based system replaces the traditional labor-intensive hanging systems, ensuring consistent quality of plating of parts of various shapes and sizes.

Bolts and self-tapping screws are treated in Mivrag’s continuous furnace that performs heat treatment, hardening, carbonizing and carbon nitrating.

Both lines operate with advanced ecological and environmental systems that comply with Environmental Management Systems ( ISO 14001).
